We have a shared care ante natal clinic in conjunction with Flinders Medical centre & Noarlunga Hospital available to the public on Wednesdays between 9.00am & 1.00pm

Inpatient care in the days following birth of your baby

Post Natal Day Support Service

A midwife is here to help and support you in the first few months after the birth of your baby.  This service is available to all new Mums and is on Wednesdays between 9.00am and 1.00pm

Who are we?

     We are a small group of midwives who work at the McLaren Vale & Districts War Memorial Hospital.

     We offer an ante natal service in conjunction with Flinders Medical Centre for pregnant women in our area.

     Our goal is to offer women and their families quality continuous care by offering ante natal checks and scheduled tests at McLaren Vale by a group of skilled midwives.

     After the birth of your baby at FMC you may then be admitted to MVDWMH and be cared for post natally until discharge.

     We may refer you to medical care if indicated.

     We will offer information on community based education/support at Noarlunga Health Service and other community centres.
