McLaren Vale & Districts War Memorial Hospital

Hospital Membership is defined under the Hospital’s Constitution as:-

4.1 Membership of the Hospital shall be vested in those persons who are currently paid up financial members. As such those persons are entitled to stand for election to the Board, nominate other members to the Board and to vote at meetings provided they have been financial members for a minimum period of four (4) weeks. Members of the Hospital must be eighteen (18) years of age or over. Application for membership subject to approval of the Board.

4.2 The annual fee payable for membership of the Hospital shall be determined by the Board.

4.3 On completion of an application for membership, Hospital members agree to be bound by this Constitution and to pay the annual fee required. Membership will lapse if a member becomes unfinancial.

Hospital membership gives you a subscription to ‘The Pulse’ , our hospital magazine, published four times a year & also entitles you to vote on important issues that affect your local hospital at our AGM held in August each year. Membership is $10.00 per annum for individuals, $5.00 for pensioners & hospital volunteers.
